Color Comparisons

Well, I hope everybody had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know I did. We spent it on the mountain with the snowmobiles. It was all good with the exception that Tiffany our 21 year old went snowboarding for the first time with her older sister Jessica. She came back with a broken wrist. She was really only worried about how she was going to complete her finals.

As for me, since I could not pack all my supplies to make cards I just took all my coloring mediums and colored this cute little Magnolia stamp called Cherry Tilda. I have colored it using Copics, Watercolor Crayons, Watercolor Pencils, and Ranger Distress Ink. I would like everybody to leave a comment on which number is their favorite. Next Monday I will announce which one is which and which one had the most votes.

Thanks for stopping by.

Oops I Forgot

I thought this was the cutest image for a forgotten birthday.

I used Oops Tilda from the A Little Yummy For Your Tummy Collection. I have colored her using Copics. The paper is also from Magnolia's Yummy Collection called Blue Candy Plaid and Candy. I added some ribbon and brads. I have also decorated the inside of the card. I used the same image and papers again but added some flowers to one side. Here is a photo of the inside.

Hope you enjoy! Thanks for stopping by.

Blueberry Tilda

This is one of the newer stamps by Magnolia called Blueberry Tilda. I colored her using Copics and then layered a second layer on the blueberries to add a little depth. All the printed paper is by Magnolia and the cardstock is from Bazzill. Everything else is from my personal stash.

I am waiting to get some of the new Magnolia holiday stamps which are not shipping yet. I just hope we all get them in time to make some really cute Christmas Cards.

Why Nothing New!

Sorry for not having anything new in the past few days but I received the new Magnolia Ink Magazine a couple of days ago and decided to create a few items to submit for entry into the next issue. Wish me luck, there are so many talented designers out there that it will be a tough job to win. But you can't win if you don't try.

I have also ordered the fall/winter kit which I am anxiously waiting for. If any of you have ever wondered what was inside that box I will be taking a photo of mine when it comes so you can see. I know it will be wonderful. You can order yours over at Magnolia.nu.

Decorating Tree

This was a fun card to make. First of all I stamped the Christmas Tree and then colored it with my Copics. Then, I added Flower Soft to make it look real. You can't really tell by the photo but it really added detail to this card. I'm SO hooked on Flower Soft. I also added some rhinestones for extra bulbs.
Then, I colored Tilda with my Copics and cut her out and attached her using 3-D squares. I also used some Stickles and Glitter on her wings and on the bulbs in her basket.
Other supplies used: Mega Nestie curved rectangle, ribbon, snowflake punch, cardstock by Bazzill, printed by Imaginisce and I also used some Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels.
Hope you enjoy.

Copic Marker Book

Well, this is my first post on my new blog. I still have a lot of tweaking to do but decided to get started with it anyway.
I made this book so that I could take it with me when shopping for new Copic Markers. I have made a page for each color group. I have used Loving Tilda Wearing Hat and colored it with my copic markers. I used the McGill file tab punch for the divider pages. All cardstock is Bazzill and the printed paper is by DCWV. The ribbon is from SU and the other embellishments are from my overwhelming stash of supplies.

Here you can see that I have made each color its own page. The bottom is for my favorite blends from that color group.
